The Strasburg Railroad

This railroad is located east of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the Pennsylvania Dutch country. It's another steam railroad, but they've got more than one engine in operation. In fact, they've got a total of four steam locomotives, and fourteen passenger cars. It takes you on a 45 minute round trip through the Amish countryside, and there's even a dining car if you want to eat along the way. And when you're done with the train ride, you can visit the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, just across the street from the main station. There's also a Toy Train Museum in town, and even a motel where you can stay overnight in an authentic caboose.

You can find out more at any of the following web sites. The first one is the official site for this railroad. You can also call them at 717-687-7522.
